Somersault value

Completed full somersaults map to fixed values, capped at a quad. Each leftover quarter-turn beyond the last completed one adds 0.1.

Twist value

0.1 per half-twist. A flat rate — no threshold, no cap.

Twist excess bonus

Twisting a lot on a multi-somersault skill earns extra — past a threshold that gets looser as somersaults increase. Doubles earn 0.1, triples and quads earn 0.2.

Position value

0.1 per completed somersault — only for pike or straight. Tuck never scores here. A twisting single somersault scores zero, regardless of position.

Backward skills bonus

Backward skills get an extra bonus indexed by completed somersaults — applies to every position, including tuck.

Routine bonus

A full routine adds 0.3 per triple, beyond a category threshold — 2 elements for women's routines, 5 for men's.
